This is the best way to get your attention as far as bugs hitting it go now what's best way to wash it... Can I use the bug prep cleaner at the car wash will that mess it up when I go to wash it now?

Once it fully dries, you can use anything you want. A power washer might peel it off, but will prob take of paint as well.

 

Ive been through the car wash prob a dozen times since, washed it by hand a dozen times. Nothing has ruined it or made it peel.

 

Really strong bug and tar remover might start to dissolve it. It's really like rubber plastic, so bugs will prob come right off. I haven't had any problems with bugs

Okay perfect ill be giving it a bath before I leave for work tomorrow thats why I ask it's had 3 days in extreme heat to dry up nice

Just have to clean out the inside of the letters, don't have any toothpicks, and too afraid to use anything else. Don't want to scratch the truck.

did 4 coats of plastic dip and 2 coats of glossifer also this past weekend...

i like it much better. i probably would have left it red if my truck was a different color.

the sonoma red paint and bright red logo was driving me nuts.
