Rough Country 3.5 leveling lift

Sorry if this has been talked about before, and I am sure it has but does anyone running the rough county 3.5 leveling lift also have the .25 inch or 2" wheel spacers installed? Also what is the best tire size to compliment this lift? I have the stock 17 in rims with Goodyear wrangler at/s also stock, I love the tires and tread grip so I was hoping for something similar! Any thoughts?

A 3.5" leveling kit is bad news and far too much front lift. It won't take long for your front suspension to wear and need replaced. The highest you should go is 2-2.5" without angle correction.

Is the 3.5" kit you are referring to the same kit for the 2011 models that they refer to as a suspension lift kit including new Moog control arms and differential spacers?

The lift he is talking about comes with a Differential drop spacer and aftermarket UCA's. I have it installed on my truck and I love it. I also went with the 1.25" body lift to get extra clearance.

I have taken my truck off road plenty and it performs. You get a nice ride on the road as well. My first suggestion would be to swap out all shocks for bilstein 5100's while you're at it.

I have been looking at the 2" spacers myself but I'm not too sure about it. If your truck is a mall crawler I bet you will be safe putting them on. For anyone that takes their truck off road I wouldn't do it.

^^^^^^

I guess I just misunderstood "leveling".

Usually when people are getting a lift kit for their truck they don't call it "leveling".

Here is exactly what I have. Word to the wise, I got an alignment yesterday at a specialist that has done it for 30 years and the front end was way out of whack because of the lift. 60 bucks and 2 hours later and it is better than when it rolled off the factory line. He said I may experience some slight bump steer on rough highway bumps or bridge expansion joints though as the lift puts your tie rods at a slight angle.

^ I called it a leveling lift kit because that is what rough country calls it, and that is what it does

Back to the point now that we cleared that up, what wheel spacers and tires are you guys running with this or a similar lift? I don't want anything to crazy it's a daily driver, maybe 33s with an aggressive all terrain tread. I'm thinking general grabber at2 33x12.5

Thoughts?
