I bought the new Putco led headlight bulbs

08 Silverado crew.

i installed the bulbs and the are just what I want but I need to do a headlight alignment. Can anyone direct me to a video or a tutorial to do this please?

Do you have before and after pics? I had HID's in my truck but I heard the LED's are amazing.

no i did not get pics. I did not buy these for more light. I bought because i was going through the old bulbs on a monthly basis due to bumpy roads. I was told that the led have better shock resistance so I am giving them a try. They throw the light up to high so and I need to adjust.

I'd be curious to know if they are indexed properly. I purchased a set of what I think are the same thing off Amazon and they look good, but were not indexed properly out of the box. When installed, they were like this / instead of like this --. I had to modify the mounting so the leds would hit the reflector properly.

Pretty easy to find how to adjust it. Just take a look at the housing. You will find two allan key adjusters. There will be little arrows saying "U" "D" "L" "R"

 

The thing with the stock housing is that they throw light out and not really in any direction just out.
