2015 Silverado Rocker Panel Welded Nut?

I bought the Go Rhino 6" OE Extreme II sidesteps for my '15 silverado. The instruction below shows a welded nut on the front rocker panel. But my silverado doesn't have that welded nut! Can anyone else with 2015 double check for me?

Um.. Do you mean the part where it says "For CREW CAB Models..."

Yes.

I located the threaded hole, but there's no welded nut below it, like shown on the picture.

I'm confused.

Looking closely at your photo, you have a CREW CAB truck. But, your original post asked for those with a DOUBLE to validate... Which do you have?

You might need to call Go Rhino. Based on their terribly written instructions, however, that probably won't get you far. You could also take the truck back and exchange it for another one.

Seriously - stop in at the dealer lot and see if there's another one that HAS the nut. It might be a manufacturing issue.

There are several mistakes with the written instruction. I called and emailed them but no response. Busy with work the next few days, so I was hoping someone with a 2015 Crewcab can just duck under the truck and check real quick. I have to go into the dealership for a replacement roof rail eventually, I supposed I could wait and check other Crewcabs on the lot.
