My 06 has about 90k on it, got new brakes at the dealer at about 65k, (or so the previous owner says) the pads have plenty of life left, rotors are pretty smooth, and Ive sprayed a couple cans of brake cleaner on the pads and rotor and I still get this annoying squeal when you arent pressing the pedal after not driving the truck for a while. Its real bad in the morning, then leaving work it does it too. As soon as you use them the noise is gone. I can see how a little light corrision from sitting overnight in dew can make it happen but that doesnt seem to be the case. What could it be? I regreased the slides and no matter how much brake cleaner I spray it makes no difference. Ive also driven fast in reverse and slammed on the brakes and nothing. thanks

There is a product called "Anti Squeal" that you spray onto the BACK of the brake pads before installation, it is some type of red goo in a can.

I have used this on all my pad and rotor replacement with no problems what so ever.
