2016 GMC Sierra Denali Gets New Bling

The 2016 GMC Sierra Denali has not yet been revealed, but GMC has listed the changes. Here is the breakdown:

2016 GMC Sierra Denali Changes:

(SDA) Chrome Recovery hooks are an available option.

You can see it on other 2015 GM vehicles. I saw it on a Buick about a month ago. It's more white than the White Diamond Tri.

So deletion of chrome and polished 20s as an option? Does this indicate that it will come stock with 22s like it's been pictured with?

How about Deleting the cheap-looking plastic trim around the wheel well? It is out of place for what's suppose to be the "luxury" side of GM trucks.

I put this in the thread below on 2016 Sierra 1500 updates but will put Denali specific:

- LED headlights are standard on Denali. SLE and Denali run the LED tail lamps.

- Power locking gate is SLE, SLT and Denali.

- SLT and Denali get the LED fog lamps.

- Power running boards are Denali only. 3 operating positions. Stow (tucked up), Cab (normal get in position) and Bed. Yes...Bed. These babies articulate back towards the cargo box. The back of the step ends up near the front of the rear wheel for box access.

Those power running boards would be sweet. I was already looking at adding the Amp boards to my new truck. I think it's likely that they will be made for GM by AMP - just as the Ford boards are. If so - that would likely mean they would be able to be retrofit. That said, I might have to think twice about it because I just installed the AMP bedsteps so the articulating feature of the 2016 boards would potentially be problematic.
