exhaust dump pictures

I am tired of my exhaust pipe denting the bottom of the box on my '13 Silverado from driving through low clearance areas. I know some have cut the pipe off just over the axle. Does anyone have pics of this mod?

Man, I'm getting close to 300,000 miles on mine and I have never hit the exhaust pipe on the bed. And you've done it more than once?

You must be doing some serious twisting or off road driving that your tailpipe is pushing up into the bed side behind the tire. I'd just cut it. Kind of obvious how it would look IMO. No tailpipe.

What are you hitting it on?

 

I dumped exhaust on an old Buick and I hated the extra noise and drone inside.
