Replacement bumpers and airbags

Just had a thought about the new replacement bumper I ordered:Bumper

Will the airbags still work after I put the new bumper on?

I could be wrong, but as far as I know, the airbags work off of a few accelerometers throughout the vehicle to detect collision conditions not switches in the bumper, so it should not matter what bumper you have.

Thanks. I figured that it was some kind of internal inertial indicator, but someone told me it would affect the deployment. I think you're correct.

hey i am new here and i was wondering if you have gotting your grill and if you have could you send some pictures of the backets or post pictures of them. i am going to build one but the only thing holding me back is the backets and i need an idea so i can build them.

My truck is due to come in mid-next week. The bumper is due to come inm on Saturday. I'll take and post some photos of the mounting apparatus when I get it.
