Odd Error Triangle on Intellilink screen

I was driving home for lunch today listening to my music on my iPhone through Bluetooth like I always do. I was waiting in traffic and suddenly my music cuts out and the screen says no artist or track info. About 5 seconds later it all came back on working just like before but there was a little triangle right below my phone logo on my touchscreen. it looked to be red and grey are yellow. It stayed on there for about 10 seconds and then disappeared.

Any idea what this is? I've never seen it before!

Only triangle like that I've seen is when there's a missed phone call. The display shows a red triangle attached to the phone icon with an exclamation point in it.

I suspect what you saw was different, tho.

Yup, someone must have called you.

Hmm maybe... maybe someone phoned and then hung up right away... that's why my music quit and came back on.

Someone might have texted you. I believe mine also displays the triangle when I get a text message. When you get a phone call it should ring over your speakers and a prompt to answer or ignore pops up on the touchscreen.

Just checked my phone and sure enough. Had a missed call at 12:03 which would've been when I was driving home. Problem solved haha. I've just never seen that triangle and it worried me!

All's good haha

What must have happened, then, is that your phone shut down the audio to facilitate the incoming call. They hung up without letting it actually ring through the speakers, and the phone didn't switch back to audio mode quickly enough for the truck's liking.

You saw the alert to the missed call without it actually having rung, and saw the error message because the audio mode went off for longer than expected (or didn't come back on quickly enough).

That's my theory, anyway.

I don't use the text message alert piece, so I have no idea if it does that for texts as well or not.
