In a previous life, I had a job where I got to drive Dodge's Charger police demo for a weekend. Fun, until you realize the "not in service" placards went missing right before the keys were handed to me. Cue the paranoia. I think I wrapped the light bar with electrical tape just to take an extra step towards showing I wasn't trying to impersonate anyone, even though it repeatedly said "PURSUIT" instead of "POLICE."

Didn't end up being much of an issue...only thing we got was a curious look from a county sheriff when my friend -- who owned an ex-Michigan state police CVPI -- and I drove past his speedtrap. Does make me want to rig a PA in my truck, though...
