Gas pump looking animation never moves. Does yours move or show full of empty?

Mine does not move. I believe that it is nothing more that a picture of a gas pump.

I wondered the same thing when I got mine last year. I thought cool, an animated gas pump symbol! It does not move though.

I've never paid any attention, but mine looks a little different than yours. The gas pump is lightly shaded about 1/2 way down, but I don't think it shows on the picture. It also has a little yellow line in the middle of the bar on the right side.

I always wondered the same thing. Especially with the full/empty legend at the bottom.

The legend threw me as well. Looks like GM planned on having the gas pump symbol go up and down with how much gas you had but passed on it at the end but left the legend.

The 'window' on the pump is about the same as the glass 'window' on older mechanical fuel pumps.

When I read the thread title I thought someone had figured out how to get 'fuel remaining', rather than 'miles' remaining.

I liked the "fuel used" page on the GMT900 trucks. Not sure why they let that go.

Chevy's have different "themes" that the driver can select in the mylink settings.
