Red bowtie?

Welcome to the site, hope you like it here.

Just paint it, that's what I did.  It just snaps out of the grille shell.

-lightly sanded with some fine sandpaper

-sprayed it with a coat of adhesion promoter

-sprayed 2-3 light coats of Victory Red Paint (Made by Plasti-Kote, I think, from Advance Auto Parts)

-sprayed a couple light coats of clear coat on it

You can get another bowtie emblem from your dealer for around $10, just so you have a spare.

Great mod that you can do for under 15 bucks, plus you'll have plenty of paint left over to paint a few other parts on your truck to match.

Did you all paint it from the back side so you still have that depth look? I'd like to find one with the red outline like the old SS S10's had. :D

painted the hell out of mine to, I put my billet bowtie back on for awhile now I can't find where I stashed my red one... guess I'll just swap the one off my grandfathers for the billet one and paint it before nopi.

There is a company that I bought one from online on ebay. They match the factory paint fode you want, then clear coat the heck out of it. I think I paid $35 with shipping on mine. They do a great job. You can contact them at:
