Fuel Gripper MT vs Atturo Trail Blade MT

So after lifting the truck, I've decided to move up to some 22" wheels. I would also like to save some money in doing so if possible. The tire size that I will be running is a 35x12.50x22. Has anyone ran either of the listed tires? Or have any other suggestions? I know you get what you pay for, but was hoping that either of these might be decent for the price.

I've heard only very bad things about the fuel tires, apparently they wear out very fast. I'm just saying what I have heard from multiple people.

i bought a set of Atturo XT's in 33x12.50x20 they are terrible tires i had to send them back and get a refund. the off road shop could not get them to balance. then they tried to road force balance them and the machine said they needed 96 lbs on 1 tire 73 on another and 43 and 49 on the other two tires. it felt like you were driving over rumble strips in a parking lot. the faster you go the worse it got. I ended up getting nitto terra grappler g2. i love them. but to save money i am with KMGZ400 get TOYO's.

Those dont belong in the same statement / question. Not trying to be a a$$ but if you want 22" wheels and mud grips i would not cheap out on the tires. any 22" mud tire worth a $hit (meaning build quality) is going to be pricey. I would look at toyo nitto pro comp etc. more tire specific companies and companies that have a better than average track record. however i am not 100% on which companies offer the size your desire that are mud grips.

Im quite aware that a higher quality MT is going to cost more, as I've ran both Open Country MT and Trail Grapplers. Why would I not try to save some money if someone has had good luck with a lesser priced tire?

If you don't mind going to an A/T Falken Wildpeaks are good tires and pretty reasonably cheap

Appreciate it man! I'll check them out.

The fuel M/T I've read is just a cheap chinese tire and many people have had issues with balancing. The Atturo is suppose to be better than the fuel but that doesn't say much. Just save a little longer and get better tires.

I have ran the Fuel MT 35x12.5x22 from day one. I did have a shimmy until I had it explained that larger tires need a static and dynamic balance. Once that was done; perfect. I have 11,300 miles so far no problems and tire wear looks good.

How many miles do you expect to get out of these tires?
