Haha...$1200 is like $700 more than I'd be allowed to spend :)

You got it! Yeah, but if I wasn't told "no" every once in a while, we wouldn't have a home :D

+1 - it's a wise spouse who knows the elasticity between maturity and narcissism!

That said, I too installed the AMP's and am happy I did so. To my eye, unless it's a true work truck or heavily pimped, it's a rare sidestep/nerf that looks natural. Thus the 'commando yet functional' appeal of the AMP for the rest of us.

Thanks, Andy. Now I want to add the OEM smoked clearance lights. I've heard there a b!tch because the stems are square.

Drill a larger circular hole. Put 07.5+ led cab lights on my 02 and just drilled regular holes for the square posts.

On a truck that new I would have the dealer do it IMO. Worth the coin so if someone screws up its not you

Looks good!

Serious question, what are the actual function of "clearance lights"? I can't figure out how lights on the roof would benefit me knowing if I was clear of something or not. I mean no disrespect, I think they do look good, just can't figure out what purpose they serve.
