So I have been having issues with my seatback moving slightly while braking and acceleration. Its not a lo but defiantly moving I can move while not in the seat as well. Now I have been in my other friends new cars and theirs don't move none of my other cars moved either. Chevy says this is normal as it has been in the dealer twice.95ed84ab8bdb285d20be8074a5ff3d3a.jpg

They were able to fix mine by performing the lateral seat movement fixes which require installing shims. The whole seat was shifting on mine, it was like it was pivoting on the front to back slides. Then after about a month, the seat bottom starting moving. They fixed this and then the whole seat started moving again. It is currently at the dealer having this fixed again.

I can already tell my seat will be lucky to last 5 or more years in this truck, my 05 had great seats and I'm no small person but in ten years I never had an issue with my 05. These leather ones though I don't have high hopes for them, and can already feel it moving some and the seat back is uneven with the seat bottom and have seen others with that issue on here too.

I have another appointment tonight. But I am beyond frustrated with this truck. One of many issues bought the truck i have only put 3000 miles on this truck and bought it in the end of August and have had it in the dealer 3 times.

  1. Seat back Movement - SAFETY ISSUE
  2. Grinding in front differential 4 Hi or Auto
  3. Clunking in drive train when cruising and let off gas

At this point I want a brand new truck that does not have to be repaired. I want a new truck that functions correctly.
