Factory Nav - No Exit Numbers Shown On Way to Destination ?

Why would they NOT have the Highway Exit Numbers shown while traveling to a selected destination ? or even the destination exit number ?

 

My 2011 & 2007 had - IIRC

 

Or is my setting not showing it ?

never while just driving in general or many miles from the exit ...

this is true and took a while to get used to. It does show you the exit and then tells you. What I go by is the distance now and then as you get closer it tells you the exit and not just the name.
