My front brakes lock up on 01'' chevy Silverado spuraticly. I have replaced front houses and calipers each time I replace something the brakes don't lock up for a bit then it starts happening again. Any thoughts?

What about the brake fluid itself? Have you changed out the fluid lately? Also what about the brake hoses on the front? They could be collapsing on you.

Master Cylinder.

My truck did the same thing, the flapper inside the master cylinder failed and wouldn't allow fluid to go back when you let off the pedal. Found that out because I would loosen the brake line fittings on the master cylinder and then the truck would roll forward (the usual movement while in park).

While you are doing that, flush out all of the brake fluid, starting at the rear. Cheap insurance.....

Nope, I have the intermittent ABS warning lights come one, but that is from a ground issue I have yet to resolve.

Sidenote, I did have the ABS malfunction when my front wheel bearings wore out. Keep that in mind as well.

You might want to try replacing the rubber brake hose. After a while, the inside caves in on itself and pushes the fluid through, but won't release.
