brakes 2000 gmc truck 4.8 v8 motor

brakes are not working when driving under 10 miles an hour but seem to work great over ten miles an hour.

changed pads and brake is full, have had a problem when stepping on brakes it will chatter a little bit when it goes over a bump.have not bled brakes yet, i dont that is the issue.

Any help would be awesome.

Does the abs feel like it is engaging at really slow speeds?

no codes that im aware of, nothing is engading under 10 miles an hour brakes dont work at all period under 10 miles an hour

Pull your abs fuse out and see if anything changes.

 

 

Wheel sensor and abs sensors sometimes cause issues. Easy thing to try.

You've checked the fluid level, but also need to check fluid condition. It may be time to change out the fluid. Also go through the entire system and bleed the brakes, then bleed, then bleed again to make sure you have all clean fluid and no air.

The symptoms described sound like a wheel speed sensor/ABS problem.

 

Very common with that truck.
