Hard Water Stains

Hello all, I have some hard water spots on my chrome grille and fog light bezels. I have tied a few detailing products

with no luck. Any suggestions on what I can safely use on the chrome to remove? Thanks in advance.

I use white vinegar on glass, should work in Chrome.

Meguiars Cleaner Wax works for lighter spots. For stubborn water stains on glass or plastichrome, I use white vinegar, clean micro fiber towel, and elbow grease until the spots are gone.

Thanks all for the replies. RyanbabZ71, I used some Bug & Tar remover, Eagle 1 Detailer and some other generic "polymer" that both claimed to remove.

Sullverado, no I didn't try clay but I may this weekend. I may also try some vinegar PGDriver. Truck had the hard water stains when I took delivery. I wasn't too

worried about it as thorough as my washes are. Thanks again for the suggestions guys! I didn't want to put something on that may ruin or stain the plastic chrome.
