Anyone here running pypes exhaust? Seems to sound good and the price is right, but there is no mention of drone, etc.

No experience with PYPES but they all drone if your AFM is not off. My MBRP is as quite as stock on the Highway and my AFM is turned off with Black Bear.

I use to run their violator system on my 06 mustang, I loved their exhaust note. Their baffled core gives a great mix between a chambered (flowmaster style) and a straight through fiberglass wrap (magnaflow/MBRP/ect) sound, I would have ran them on my truck but it's just to loud for me on this truck since I tow frequently I wanted something quite with just a little bit of growl.

I know this is older but i was wondering if anyone is running this yet. I had a 2007 mustang gt and ran the violator kit on it and loved it. Just surprised for the price there is nobody on here with any insight? Actually there are no reviews on this product period on all the websites i checked. If anyone has insight on this product i would like to hear it. Thanks

Could have a shop that's good with exhaust do a system exactly how you want it for cheaper. If you like the muffler enough just buy it and have a shop install it with 2 tailpipes and whatever tips you want at whatever position you want them and it will be cheaper than that kit and you still have to install it. I had a shop remove everything from the muffler on back removed and had them put a Flowmaster Super 44 single in/dual out muffler (I believe it also has a black coating on it) up with 2 black chrome tips at 45° behind each tire for roughly $350 which was parts and labor. If the pipes on that kit were mandrel bent then maybe it would be worth that price but they're not mandrel bent so just have a shop build your exhaust exactly how you want it for cheaper. I'm too picky, I don't like having to settle for how an exhaust kit is setup, I want what I want lol.

Why on God's green earth was the music off when they did stock start up... but after the kit install music was still playing!!! (FAIL)

Probably because stock exhaust is too low that the music would have been louder than the truck. I remember mine sounded like a Prius until I had the exhaust done. Before the exhaust I didn't even know when it was in V4 mode unless I looked on the dash, that's how quiet the stock exhaust is, at least on a 5.3.
