Someone backed into my truck

I was going out to my truck this evening to go to work, when a guy came from across the street, and asked if that was my truck (he thought I lived in the house across the street).  I said yes, why?  And he said he backed into it while turning around.  That's about the time I felt like :banghead:   I asked where, and he said he wasn't sure because he didn't see any damage and was trying to find me to have me look.  Well, I couldn't find any damage either, on my truck or his car.  The only thing even close was a very slight smudge on the tire, so I'm thinking the corner of his bumper (some kind of small toyota) may have hit the tire.  No sign of damage on the wheel either.

We looked it over real well, I looked it over again when I got to work, me and a couple other guys at work looked it over again, and found nothing.  I guess I lucked out.

You're lucky Tom.  After thinking that, my next thought was, wow, an honest person who was willing to take responsibility for his actions!!  :thumb:

Yeah, I told the guy that I really appreciated him telling me about it, that not many people would do that these days, it seems like.

Too bad there aren't any of those peeps around here in the parking garages!  Got 2 nice smudges of paint on the left doors from idiots who don't know how to open their doors!  Just cause they drive P.O.S. vehicles, doesn't give them the right to bang up mine.  But have no fear, I'm working on raising money to lift it so people will his the step bars and dent up THEIR doors. WHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Lucky Lucky Lucky.  My dad has a 92 Sierra and his passenger side has been hit twice by someone in a parking lot.  Noone ever stopped.  Other than the scrapes and dents on the passenger side the truck is in amacculate condition.  And I am just as confused as all of you as to why people can't see our big trucks.  Although black at night and white durring winter is understandable.

Ya it seems that honesty has really up and walked off to be sarcastic...........

Glad your truck is still in 1 piece.  Suprised he didn't get any damage. Must've not hit it very hard.

Man hat scared me.  I saw the title of this thread and who started it and I thought, Great now my brother is either in jail for killing somebody or in the looney bin.

Glad there was no damage.  And it's amazing that he was so honest.
