PLEASE HELP

When I accelerate slow down and turn or sometimes at high speeds a gurgling water sound will occur. Also I am losing coolant but no signs of it anywhere. Rough idle but that may be spark plugs, check engine light every once in a great while will come on for a couple miles and go back off. Anyone have info? 1994 silverado Z71 278K miles that's the only problem with truck right now. Could it be heads, manifold, heater core? Any info will help thanks email: [email protected]

In my experience, the gurgling sound is a result of low coolant. If you're losing coolant but there's no sign of it, check for signs of it in your oil. Have you checked to see what code has been turning your MIL on?

Low coolant and/or air trapped in the system. Not sure what the procedure is to "burp" your coolant system.
