Flattened exhaust/ header tube??

So I just wrapped up installing my leveling kit on my 15, and while under the truck I noticed the exhaust/ header pipe that comes from the drivers to the passenger side is flattened on the bottom where it runs in front of the crossmember. Is this normal? The truck only has 1600 miles and its not something I've done. Seems as though it shouldn't be this way. Am I missing something or do I damage? Thanks ahead of time.

They've been like that since the 1996 Silverado I had. I think my 05 was the most square shaped out of the bunch

Yep normal, and since the pipe is squeezed from round to partially flat, there is supposed to be no restriction in flow. Done for ground clearance so the pipe does not hang down below the crossmember. A nice set up ARH headers and Y pipe will rectify this issue.
