Knee bolster removal

How is the knee bolster panel removed in these trucks? It's the center panel under the steering wheel. I've got a gun holster coming that I'm going to mount there. On my 06 Sierra it was just 4 bolts holding it on. Any help is greatly appreciated!

There's 2 screws on the bottom of the panel. There not normal screws. After you get them off start from the top of the panel and just put it straight back. There's just a whole bunch of clips holding it. Just know that on the back of the panel there's a metal sheet outlining that panel. Directly under the steering wheel base there's a metal pole from left to right. I hope all this all helps.

After screw removal, pull it back towards the floor? Or back up towards the steering wheel? I don't want to break any clips. Thanks for the info!

Pull it straight back towards the seat and you'll be alright. The clips looks pretty sturdy.
