Brake Light and Cruise Control Gone :(

So, I've got a 03 Sierra 1500. Some time ago the Cruise Control stopped working. I cant get the light to even come on. I just started searching to figure out the repair. While trouble shooting I discovered that my brake lights don't work either. Since that is a bit more important-ish I started working on that issue. I have tail lights, reverse lights, and turn signals but when I step on the brake pedal, nothing. Usually, my method of trouble shooting is throw parts at it. cheapest/easiest first. I have remote start, I kicked that on and stepped on the brake pedal. It killed the engine. I believe the stoplight switch is fine. I check the fuses under the hood and on the side of the dash. They were fine. I tried my test light at the distribution block, couldn't light my test light. This leads me to believe the issue is between the pedal and the distribution block.

I need a wire diagram please.

I've been searching but I haven't found the correct one yet. I have a new stop light switch and distribution block uninstalled.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

^^^ That. Get your brake lights working again and it may fix the cruise control problem since it works off the brake light switch.

I too have lost my cruise control but all my brake lights seem to work... Could the switch be the cause? Ordered a new one just in case... Maybe it will help

Break light switch is fine, I swapped it out for a delco unit and tested it. nothing. If I start my truck with the remote start and tap the break it shuts the truck off. I think the switch operates just fine.
