Hi. I recently bought a 2015 Silverado LTZ. It's got the Chrome 20 inch wheels on it. I'm wondering if these are really chrome or are they polished aluminum. My 2010 Camaro 2SS has 20 inch polished aluminum with a clear coat on them. Are the 20's on the Silverado clear coated or truly chromed? I've had a bunch of cars and trucks with chrome all around and I have a great chrome care product from Germany but it will DESTROY anything with a clear coat on it, Heck, chrome cleans up great with a fine steel wool but I wouldn't dream of hitting my Camaro wheels with it! Anyone know for sure?

i believe those are chrome clad, aka plastic. Wash with mild soap, dry, and put a wax/sealant on them.

^ Sealant over the rims will make cleaning and caring for them so much easier. I recommend removing the rims completely and then cleaning the inner barrels and sealing them also. Makes cleanup a breeze
