Tuning is complete. Feels much better now. I unfortunately only got to drive her about 10 miles today though. More detailed reports to come :)

You may want to go ahead and try a different tuner. My truck bone stock dyno'd 350/380 at the wheels with the factory air box cracked open. This was with absolutely no tuning, just getting base line numbers. With the factory airbox completely sealed I was getting around 345/370. You should be seeing higher numbers than that with a tune.

Yup, you're definitely right. The numbers aren't very impressive. I do like how much smoother it shifts and drives overall though. I think I'm going to contact blackbear as soon as I payoff these next two big mods I have in the works. I've never heard of anyone being disappointed with blackbear.

Yeah, blackbear is supposed to be very good. I was setup to have them tune my truck but ran into some issues and couldn't make the meet. If you want to stay local any tuner that is known for Corvettes will be able to tune your truck no problem. The L86 and LT1 are very comparable and have similar dyno results.

Thanks for the info man, I appreciate it a lot. Unfortunately, my options for tuning locally are abysmal. There are only 2 near me and one of them I do not trust at all. The one left is who I went to and got these less-than-stellar results. I believe my only logical course of action now is to get in touch with BB.

Thanks again

Ok, so I'm looking at interior dash kits and have narrowed it down to 3 options for the colors. Looking for input :)

The dark mahogany would look great. But if you have a sierra (on tapatalk so cant tell) the carbon fiber with red accents would really accentuate the red lighting and gauges. Tough choice in my book.

Yeah, I have a Sierra. Normally I wouldn't even consider the Carbon Fiber route because a part of me thinks it looks cheap, but in this case I actually think it'd compliment the interior accents and lighting well. Whereas the wood ones will look luxurious and elegant I think. I'm just not sure right now haha.

Sorry I'm an idiot and missed the part of your title where it says sierra! I would go with the carbon fiber since you have the sierra. After dinner I'll step out to my truck and take some pictures of what my carbon fiber wrapped interior pieces look like too.
