No, not the movie....

Wondering what owners do in the cold climes to keep their doors from freezing shut during the freezing rain type of chit. Has happened to me twice now when the truck has to sit outside. Has me worried for later in the month when we snowmobile into the cabin and have to leave the truck six miles down the road. Would purely suck if we came back to the truck and couldn't get in it.

This is the first year I have started having this problem, by the way.

Silicone all the rubber parts and silicone the door hinges, anywhere that rubber or metal meet metal. Only other thing you can do is tape the seam with painters tape to keep the water out of the joints before it freezes.

Dewfpro, is bang on with silicon lub on all the rubber seals. Id place a bottle of lock deicer outside the cab not the spray kind the squeeze bottle kind. Make sure you oil the locks.

Use a silicone - based protectant (the silicone version of ArmorAll) as the solvent carriers in a silicone spray can adversely affect the rubber/foam gasket material.

I need to do this to my own vehicle...
