I'm having a retractable cover put on my new truck after the Holidays and have been looking at several brands. I've just about narrowed it down to either Roll N Lock or Retrax. Any thoughts on those brands or input on others you have? Also, It's about $400 for the electric version that has a remote. Is that worth it or excessive? LOL!!!

I just put on a Peragon. Great cover for the money. Nice customer service too.

Just got color matched Peragon delivered, but I cannot install due to clamp brackets being too short. If you used the optional clamp brackets could you please holler back I would love to get a couple of pics and some dimensions Peragon is acting like they do not believe me that the brackets will not work, they keep sending me install links and the clamp brackets are still too short no matter how many videos that they send LOL.

 

 

Mr Obvious says "In the pics the loose bracket that I am holding is the drill and bolt type. You can see the difference in the two plain as day" Hopefully peragon support will wake up soon and figure out what they did here. Note: Color match paint turned out awesome it is really going to look good if they get me the right clamp brackets and I can get it installed. Those clamp brackets that they sent must be fir a furin vehicle like a yota or sumpin.

Had a Roll n Lock on my last truck, on it was shot (both aesthetically & mechanically) after 4 years. Just did a Retrax Pro MX on the new truck, and the quality & finish are amazing.

 

The Retrax seems like a really well thought out & slick setup so far, and hopefully won't fade to $%^& after a few years.
