I am trying to remove the plastic rail on the inside of the center console of the 2015 Yukon... This is the rail that is designed to hang folders on... It looks like it just pops in but I can't get it out. Does anyone know how to remove this?

Thanks!

On my 2016 Silverado, I discovered they have to slide forward before they come out.

I used a heavy trim tool to pry them toward the front of the vehicle and they popped out with a bang.

Not certain Yukon and Silverado consoles are the same, but this is the only page I could find on google that described the problem, so I thought I'd just post a reply here.

I just transferred my freedom box from my ‘14 Sierra to my new-to-me ‘19 Yukon.  The file rails in the Sierra were easier to remove.  The Yukon you also pull forward but you have to pry the middle out first because the middle stud doesn’t slide.

I'm having the same problem right now, I'm trying to install a new Security Console Lockbox and you have to remove these hanging folder supports in order to fit it in. Per the instructions, you are suppose to slide the supports forward and then press to the center of the console and they come out. Not happening...
