Bull Bar installation

I was wanting to have a Rough Country Bull Bar installed but when I did some research on it, I saw where the front tow hooks will have to be removed. Is this just on a Rough Country model or do they have to be removed to install all bull bars.

 

Anyone on here that has installed a Bull Bar regret having to take the tow hooks off?

Seems like if the bull bar is worth its salt, you should be able to use it as a tie down point in place of the tow hooks, if the need arose
