26" Wheels

305/30/26

Brand New Dub Baller Wheels

My truck has a violent shake right at 65+mph

-Road Forced Balanced

-High Speed Balanced

-I've removed all rotor retaining clips

-Wheels are hub-centric can't use hub ring

-Even tried a different set of lug nuts

Looking to see if anyone may know what the problem could be.

No, I had the front leveled and aligned same day the wheels were put on.

my truck was shaking a bit at the same speed with my 26's.

I rotated the wheels and it stopped.

I had them balanced again though. try getting them balanced again at a reputable shop

This is your issue it's on the back of your truck 1a1d18bacc48d3a174f0703ba7f09439.jpg

Little clip that sits on the stud take rear wheel off you'll see it.

Please post pics, wanna see 26" hoops.

Yes. They look damn good on my truck.

Then it's probably a bad balance only other reason

I ordered them from CarID which made me assume they were going to be balanced perfectly. It's all just frustrating as hell.

Can't assume id go to a local trust worthy shop explain the situation and ask them to check it out for you iv had this issue in many cars and they might not all be out could just be one wheel is off but that's enough to cause it to do that or like I posted earlier you have one of those clips still on the rear stud

Do you still have your old tires and rims?

Mark your new rims/ tires 1-4 with chalk, install old wheels in rear. Rotate the fronts to isolate which one's shake. That assumes at least 2 of your 4 are good. If the vibration is from less than 3 wheels you can at least identify those with an issue and without, if it is balance or run-out.

If you have a 2wd you can do 1 at a time on the front...

You could also try all of your old wheels in case there is something about your leveling job? Why assume...

I agree, very little rubber. I test drove trucks with 18's and 20's, the trucks with 20's rode worse. But it is impossible to say if yours are normal for what they are. Good luck

Thanks I'll give that a try when I find time and let everyone know how it turns out.
