new factory HID lights for 2016 2500 HD models?

Well some were hoping the new 2016 1500 LED headlights would fit the 2014-15 trucks, but it looks like the mounting brackets for the headlights changed according to another thread. But I just noticed it says the new 2016 2500 HD models have HID lights. The headlights appear to be the same as the 2014-15 1500 trucks, so I was wondering if we could somehow upgrade to the new HID lights?

Incorrect, all HD's had halogen lights up to 2015.5. 2016 is the first mention of HIDs for the HD trucks. I would like to find a way to modify my 2015.5 with the factory HIDs but still very little info on what parts changed, if GM used new projectors, and where the associated hardware is mounted.

Yea I forgot that the 2500 and 3500 are a year behind. Body style wise.

Anyone have a part# for 2016 2500HD HID headlight and cost? I am think the only issue making them work will be the amount of voltage the BCM is programed for on 2016 HID compared with 14/15 trucks.
