It is a Carshow by Rosen set of DVD players for the headrests. I also got the Black Leather with red stitching to match the All Terrain edition headrests. The monitors are tied to together and play either DVDs, USB, or HDMI(allowing Chromecast support, or Roku, ect...).

It doesn't tie into front dash, sorry if you were misled. The headrests have DVD slots in them and ate powered. I am hardwiring it into to 3.5 audio input in the console but it will not require front panel integration. I wish I could make something like that work, like my wife's Tahoe and the Bluray player, but it is not possible as far as my research has proven, although with an HDMI input I suppose I could add a Bluray player ha-ha!

Ok I got a few more pics to add to this but the light kept the quality poor so I will use these for the time being.

I finished the install and the fit and finish is awesome. The rear panel of the console that I was going to remove and try to conceal some of the parts/wires in dis not pan out as feasible.

The inside of the console under the rubber mat had a nice little remove able port hole that allowed me to fish a wire into that allowed me to use the 3.5 mm audio port. This makes the audio for the dvd system better than what you get from FM modulators.

These seats were far easier to do this on than my 2014 2500 with that plastic rear seat panel and cooled seats. That was a PITA, at the time anyway, still would be now but I know more. The 2014+ 1500s this upgrade is a piece of cake.

Headphones work great, remote works, audio is good quality through auxiliary port, and picture is good. I have the HDMI and USB ports that tomorrow I will likely pick up a spare chromecast to put in, and I will follow up with pics.

So are the headrests the originals? I would love to add this to my Silverado for the kids but have no idea how I'd go about cutting my headrests to insert the monitors. I am picky and it would have to look factory if I am going to cut into my headrests.

I have the cooled seats as well. From what I gather the wires from the monitors were sent through the backrest portion of the front seats? Do you have a digital install guide you could send me a link to? I would love to set this up - besides front parking sensors this is the only feature I wish I had in my Silverado SLT.

The cost will vary a little. It depends on what setup as far as inputs that you may want. Give Walt at ADC Mobile a call or email, he is awesome at getting back with you quickly.

The headrests appear original, but new ones come with the kit that match your particular interior. Mine had to be ordered with Jet black leather with red stitching to match the AT edition, and they are spot on not only in color, but also in the grain of the leather.

What I said about the cooled seats being harder, you should know I was referring to a 2014 2500 that was the previous body style, and possibly the newer ones may or may not be as difficult to work with. I can tell you the old ones were a little tough, but the new ones as in my case were so easy and quick to install.

No wires can be seen, it looks factory. The thing is, these are better than the factory Headrest monitors(not the Bluray player though!), as they have more options and can be hardwired, whereas the factory RSE dual monitor kit works on an FM modulator, which can be a problem while traveling.

That's awesome! You tire the DVD players to the front system?

I have a Chromecast connected to mine. I would love front camera integration.

yes, I actually am doing it backwards. The module i sent you has HDMI input and RCA out as well as 2 others for other camera inputs. So I am going to send the RCA outputs to the Rosen RCA inputs on the module. This way I can control the video and such from the front screen with the HDMI input from that device. But then if wanted I still have 2 other HDMI inputs for Rosen that I can put separate devices into and watch them independently on the back screens.

So They can all watch the same thing or each screen could be something different technically
