feels like my steering is stuck 4wd

I just rolled over 25000km and was coming home from work today and made a turn and it felt like the truck was in 4wd and binding. We got a enough snow the night before and I had it in 4wd auto. Today I took it out around lunch since the roads were clear but got extremely cold out. Could something have frozen in place and it not switch out of 4wd. I'm really frustrated on how it can all of a sudden happen. Does anybody have any idea what it would be or has this happen to anyone I'm up to date on all the recalls aswell

Did you take it out of auto??

It could be the G80 locked because of a slip in a turn.

Ya it's out of auto. Doesn't matter it if I turn left or right. If I do a slight turn it's fine but a full turn then it's all bunged up. I looked at it quickly in a parking lot and turned the wheel back and forth and it seemed fine but as soon as I move it a different story

Tried backing up for a few feet??

Like back in the day.... Maybe it could disengage something

Yes there is a tsb on this. Had it taken care of yesterday at the dealership while getting an oil change. Had something to do with the temperature out, the auto is kicked into 4wd

Wasn't there a TSB for that?

take it to the dealer, there most definitely was a TSB for this. The trucks were getting locked in 4wd. There is a thread on here somewhere about it, the update actually "made the truck drive better" for some people.

Had something to do with when it was cold out it would go into 4x4 on it's own. Get the update.
