tahoe to silverado engine swap

Hi everyone new guy here with an engine swap question . I have a 2006 silverado 4x4 with a 5.3 L59 with a bad engine , i have a 2006 Tahoe with a 5.3 LM7 engine can this swap be made with out to much trouble .

Yes. Just swap long block and use the other stuff from the current

I kniw one is flex fuel, but not sure which. Worst thing would possibly having to get it tuned. I had a LQ9 long block swapped in and all is good after a tune

Plug and play. Engine is identical minus the fuel injectors which just use the intake from the original engine.

I did wonder about the fuel injectors , the difference between flex fuel and non flex fuel . My thinking was I wasn't running flex fuel in the first place so do the injectors matter that much. I don't know just thinking out loud.

Flex just has a larger injector
