If you have MTV2, and like heavy metal type music, then you may be glad to know that The Headbangers Ball is back on again from 10pm to midnight on Saturday nights.

Awesome!  I love 80s heavy metal-  Maiden, Ozzy, all the Hair Bands (Dokken, Ratt, etc).  We get the House of Hair on the radio here, hosted by Dee Snider.

While on the topic, I'll recommend an excellent online heavy metal radio station.  Check out www.hotmetalradio.com.  I listen to it all day at work.  www.knac.com rocks, too, but it tends to have a lot more death metal, which I'm not into.

I think we need a shout out, "Old school".  Anyway, you're taking me back.  I recall being at my bro's girlfriend's house when I was either in grade school or early in high school.  This was New Year's Eve and MTV was on playing Tom Petty and I recall a bunch of drunk people swaying from side to side singing Guns N Roses.

I don't think they are showing only 80's heavy metal.  Tonight they had some "newer" music (Disturbed, hed P.E., Hatebreed, etc.) and I seen a couple older songs.  It was hosted by Metallica this week.

Someone explain this too me:

I live in Broken Arrow, OK.

It comes in in half way, but we aren't suppoed to have it. Not even cable has it. I'm dead smack in the middle of broadcasting range for most all my local channels, so fade in from a near-by station dosen't seem right.

Hmmm...Got it down here in OKC via cable (Cox). :werd:

Man, this is great!

I still remember seeing Bruce Dickenson hosting Headbangers Ball back in the 80's wearing high heels and stockings!
