Audio not working?

Started my 2015 Sierra the other day and there was no audio sounds at all, no radio, door chimes, seatbelt warning or turn signal sound. Took it into the dealer and of course it started working again. They said it was a glitch because it was cold and if it happened again to turn it off for half an hr and then restart? How is that a fix??? Well it happened again this morning. Yes it is cold (-25C) but seriously a glitch because it is cold??? Any ideas what it could be? Will be taking it back into the dealer next week as I am up at the cottage this weekend.

check audio settings , might be turned off at start up

Not the settings, the problem is intermittent.
