Front collision alerts not beeping

When an object is first detected in the rear, one beep will be heard from the rear, or both sides of the Safety Alert Seat will pulse two times.

When an object is very close (<0.6m (2 ft) in the vehicle rear, or <0.3m (1 ft) in the vehicle front), a continuous beep will sound from the front or rear, or both sides of the

Safety Alert Seat will pulse five times.

Beeps for FPA are higher pitched than for RPA.

Turning the Features On or Off

The P button on the center stack is used to turn on or off the Front and Rear Parking Assist. The

indicator light in the button comes on when the features are on and turns off when the features have been disabled.

Front and Rear Parking Assist can be turned off, on, or on with towbar through vehicle personalization.

See “Park Assist” under Vehicle Personalization

Mine is haywire as well, you're not alone. Group hug? Damn thing lights up like a Christmas tree when I'm first in line at red lights. Seems to work 70% of the time. I wonder if it's even worth it to waste my time at the dealer to get the last 30% online.

Edited for my lack of proofreading skillz

There is a update for the park assist module in the 16's. My front p.a. would really act up a times, especially if it was raining. I found out by bringing it in for some other work. The tech test driving said it was driving him nuts, he looked and found the update. Ill dig up the PI off my RO when I get home

That would be great - Too bad we can't just have a comprehensive list on here to sort through when we need.

Heres the PIT5507B, hopefully this helps, my truck was in on 1/19 and I think it was fairly new.

Good Luck!
