OEM Z71 18in wheels with lift kit?

Can the OEM Z71 wheels (18in) be used with non-Rough Country lift kits? I saw on the RC page that it lists tire fitments for OEM 18s, but the Procomp and Zone lift sites seem to indicate that "OEM wheels cannot be used".

 

If I were to go with a 4in lift, and 33-34in by 11-12in tire, what wheel width/backspacing/offset would avoid rubbing? I should note, that I hate the look of tires sticking way out the side (deep dish wheels). I'd like to keep them mostly tucked under the fenders to protect paint on the side.

 

 

EDIT: Follow up question. If I decide to do a leveling kit (2-2.5in from either RC or Pro Comp), can I run a a 285/65R18 or 275/70R18 without rubbing? Looking at TA KO2s

yes with the pro comp. you can run those tires.

What about wheel sizes with a 4in ProComp lift. Can the OEM 18s be reused, or do I need to go with aftermarket?
