Thoughts on Bridgestone A/T Revo 2's? Anyone running them?

They aren't junk, they are a mid grade tire that does ok for what GM wants (longevity, quietness, low rolling resistance, mid pack handling, ect) and for what most buyers use their trucks for, pavement and some light hauling. Most people that say junk just don't like their looks (doesn't look "off road enough") or live in a ton of snow and want more winter traction (mostly the looks and image though); there are a few that deal with muddy fields or off road and do need more tire. But anytime someone says junk I just laugh...

 

OP, what are you looking for in a tire. Do you off road? I see you have a 4wd. Deal with a bunch of snow or go up north often? Down here in Texas winter weather isn't an issue. Just going for looks? The older Revo's I heard good things about for road manners, traction, quietness and mpg. I did hear some longevity issues on the original Revo's (this was with the full size guys), but think that has mostly been addressed with the new redesigned Revo 2s.

 

The Coopers are on my short list (AT3) when my stock (not crappy but ok) tires wear out...

To clarify, I had the Revo 2s on my Tacoma and they didn't last, the tread is pretty soft. I agree the SRAs are not as bad as many here make them out to be. I didn't get good wear out of my SRAs either, I think 28K and they were shot, but I expected that for a factory tire. Someone who wants an aggressive off road tread of course won't like the SRA's, but I don't think it's fair to equate them to junk. Mine did well in snow and rain when the tread was good obviously. If someone dumped a new set on CL or the marketplace and was close by, I personally would scoop them up if I needed new tires in a heartbeat with no reservations. I guess to each their own.

I have the Bridgestone Dueler A/T in LT275-65-20 (34") on my truck. They're not the Revo 2, but if you're looking to upgrade to something in a heavy duty LT series, I give them 2 thumbs up. I've yet to come even close to getting stuck it the crud I occasionally drive in, and they handle very well and are quiet on the hi-way. The only downfall is they are heavy being an LT tire, which brought my mileage down 1 to 2 mpg. With a 2" level, they fit perfectly with no rubbing by just tying the wheel well carpet liner back.

I had them on my Pathfinder (traded for my truck) Great AT tire IMO.

I had Revo 2's on my 2014 and liked them. I've run them on other trucks previously as well. This was the first truck that I noticed any road noise with them, but this is also the quietest truck I've owned. No complaints. They're a mild AT in my opinion with great road manners.
