Thoughts on Bridgestone A/T Revo 2's? Anyone running them?

I have a set on my old Xterra and really liked them. Quiet, good road manners and an aggressive looking tread.

Anyone running them on their K2?

I can get a great deal on a set from my local Firestone dealer right now. These crappy Goodyears have to go!

I ran them on my previous Tacoma and my results were more inline with the negative results on tire rack. The tires wore out real quick, like in 30K miles...plus they're fairly pricy for what you get. I rotated mine every oil change which was 5K miles. I have no desire to ever purchase another set. I went with Coopers this go around, but for the price of the Revo's, I would rather go with some Michelin LTX AT's

I have never run them, but they are not rated very well on Tire Rack.

I'd prefer first hand experience, and 4 out of 5 stars isn't bad. The top rated TA KO has 4.5, and these are $90 per tire cheaper.

Have a set on mine. So far I love them

How many miles so far?

How do you like the Coopers? Those are my other "bargain" choice.

I really don't like the look of the BFGs. I agree on the Michelins. I've never had a bad set of those on any vehicle.

More information is offered in the tire ratings spreadsheet. They are rated a 6.7/10 for "Would Buy Again" and only superior in one category.

Thanks, I read that before posting here.

I'm looking for people that may have them on the same vehicle I drive, specifically. I've owned them before, but on a smaller, lighter vehicle in a different size.

Again, first hand experience on a K2. Not some guy with a 2008 F350 towing a camper, or a homer in a Jeep.

My friend had a set of those on his Silverado. I (my opinion) had (have) the dueler RH-S and I think they hook up better off road and in the snow. I got 65,000 on my first set. My 15 Sierra came with them and wearing great so far.

I got a set of the Cooper discoverer AT3s. I can't speak for the longevity as I only have 8K on them, but so far I like them. They have an aggressive enough looking tread for me, handle snow very well and are fairly quiet and no loss of mpgs. Handling on dry pavement are good, did well in slush and mud. I got my set from Pep Boys installed for $700. If they last me 45K, I'll get them again. The Revo's rode well on my Tacoma, but didn't last long at all. For the money they weren't worth it, and for a P rated tire on a Tacoma, I couldn't imagine the wear on a heavier Sivlerado.

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it. I think I'm leaning towards the Coopers more now. Going to look around and see what kind of deals I can find.

Cheers!

If you have a Pep Boys around you, they have the discoverer but through Pep Boys they're the adventurer line. They have buy 3 get 1 free. Much cheaper to buy them online and have them installed at a local store. Plus Cooper always runs a $70 cash card rebate.

I ran them on my last truck a Ford superduty diesel they were queit smooth did great towing. They did seem to wear at a fast pace tho. I think I got right around 30k out of them before they were too thin for my comfort. That was also their E rated tire.

I have cooper ATP's, discount tire exclusive, I've got about 3k miles on them and they've been good so far. They also gave me $200 for my Wrangler SRA POS OEM tires which helped a lot in my decision process. Woulda preferred Firestone Destination AT's but, firestone had no interest in my OEM junk. I can understand why GM puts such a crappy tire on such a high dollar truck. For $48k sticker I expected a little more capable tire.
