Adding heated seats to Regular cab

Anyone add heated seats to a Regular cab, either under the cloth or on it?

 

Would it screw up the passenger airbag sensor?

There are aftermarket kits available, you must remove the stock seat cover and with an adhesive backing, attach to the cushion itself. If installed correctly, it should not affect the occupant seat detection. It requires a bit of skills to disassemble and reassemble the seat cover correctly.

The passenger airbag detection is pretty neat the way it works. its a liquid pressure plate that feels the weight.

I did mine last week, however, I also had the cloth replaced with Katskinz leather. Works like a charm, no issues

I have to ask why? Heat in the regular cabs is not an issue. Could melt cheese in my regular cab within a few minutes with my heating up here in the great white north.

Even leather seats come up to temp fast with the heating system in a regular cab.
