Here's my build thread.

I bought the truck pre-owned just a few weeks ago. It's a black on black 2015 Denali 1500 4x4 with the 6.2L 8 speed 3.23 drivetrain. It is super clean without any flaws save for a few rock chips in the front.

The truck has every factory option including Power Sunroof, Driver Alert Package, and trailer brake, but with the machines wheels.

The truck already came with a painted ARE bed cover with electric lock, Bed Rug, Under-Seat rear storage, GM all-weather mats (still wrapped in plastic!), and new Michelin LTX M/S2 275/55/20 tires.

Here are the pictures from the original owners classified add.

The very next morning after buying the truck I took off the running boards. I like the look better, plus I plan to install either AMP electric running boards or NFab nerf bars

A week or so after buying I did a couple of small things.

AMP black bed extender; super easy install and nice quality.

Very nice truck! I have the same one and am building it right now! Excited to see how yours and mine both turn out!

Wow, see is clean. That engine bay looks spotless. I'm waiting for spring so I can do a good detail on my 2014. You have me thinking about a new bed cover as well. My UnderCover Flex leaks like a faucet.

I like to see other people ideas. Soon I'll be doing a 2.5" level, 285/65 BFG K02's and maybe a few other small things

Thanks, I was surprised at how spotless the engine bay was myself.

if you were local I'd sell you this cover. I love it but I want a power retractable cover; for my very short girlfriend to be able to open a close it and so my do can ride in the back.

I think it was Amazon. Antenna-X 13".

To make it look perfect, the male end of the antenna (on the vehicle) should be ground down 1/4". Other than that detail I like the antenna

    • Today I filled up with 4.899 gallons of fuel at a cost of $4.899 a gallon. $24 bucks. 290 miles. 59.2 mpg. After my 4% COSTCO discount just under eight cents a mile.
    • Howdy folks,   Recently I pulled a heated steering wheel and clock spring out of a 2015 Sierra All Terrain (part numbers coming soon - will have to disassemble), and just installed it on my 2016 Sierra WT (as base model as it gets).   On install, I noticed that I’m missing the connector often tucked behind the dash for the heating element.     No problem… or so I thought.   I used an “Add-A-Fuse” at my heated steering wheel fuse location, which has voltage, but no wires. I ran it to the positive of the heated steering wheel (Violet/White), and took black to ground.   Hooked up the battery, turned the truck on - no heated steering wheel. No button backlights. Was pleased to see that my cruise control was working though.   Read a post suggesting reversing polarity, so I gave it a shot. Violet and White to ground, Black to power.    Aha! Heat! But I seemingly can’t turn it off AND still no backlights on any of the buttons.    Checked all fuses, everything is still in good order. I’m stumped.   Does anyone have any insight? If so, please share!
    • I'm about 1800 miles into my last oil change, and yesterday a message appeared saying oil life was at 77%. Not sure why it popped up but I think all of these electronics could be susceptible to solar flares or somesuch. I change my oil right at 3K each time, and that was the first time in 10870 miles that message came up. Strange thing is that it showed on the screen at all since I don't drive with that sort of info displayed on the DIC.

    • Checked the pads today and there's plenty of meat on them. If the message keeps coming up, I'll just answer YES that the pads were replaced and wait for the squeal.
