2016 Sierra HD K&N CAI

I have noticed that K&N has not put out there cold air intakes for the 2016 2500HD Sierras yet. Is anyone aware if the 2015 will fit on the 2016? It looks as if everything is the same as far as the air intake between the years. I did notice that the Mass Air Sensor for the 2015 looks a little different from what I have on my 2016. I just hate to purchase it and have it not fit properly. I know that this will not add huge increase, but want it for the throttle response and sound.

Since no one has answered you i will because i have run into this issue as well. There doesnt seem to be ANY intake kits yet, i just got a dry high flow filter from amazon and it works well. The kits for 2015 will NOT fit, the port for the sensor is different.

hey I been through that headache just 2 days ago because a company told me it would fit but when I got it the MAF sensor was different. I was pissed and still am but I hope someone puts out one for our truck soon!! sorry we have to wait I guess SMDH!

I'd expect a K&N about a year after the current model year.

K & N has produce the 2016 cold air intake just got one last week.. the 2015 is different do to a humidity sensor port on the intake tube that the 2016 does not have along with a different mass flow air sensor ( went threw this already when my wife tried ordering it for my bday )..

Do cold air intake require any engine management program to support it or are they all just plug and play?

Yes i sure did lol i dont make to much of a habit of it, only do it when its needed but hwy notice a lil difference in mpg. But throttle response is definitely noticeable
