So, my 15 LT z71 is about 1/2" higher on the RIGHT front fender. Guessing that is is within the tolerance specs. I was wandering, if I install a leveling kit that is 1/2" taller on the driver side, will this be an issue.

I don't think you would be happy with this decision. Measure all four corners parked in various locations with various amounts of gas in the tank and other "loads" and you'll be glad you didn't add to the issue. What you have noticed, I believe is normal. As Dr. Laura on XM radio suggests, normal can't be fixed!

Not that I would recommend solely for rectifying the lean, but I installed airbags and as long as I keep up on the pressure it has solved the rear end lean

Yeah, normal is what I hear. I was going to cut my spacers 1 1/8 for the left and 1" for the right. Install them on the lower end of the strut just like rough country. So that extra 1/8 will end up being 1/4 rise. Don't want to have too much of a difference. I have already installed aluminum spacers 3/4". To give me around an 1 1/2 lift.

I think it's normal just because of the gas tank being on the driver side so it will naturally lower the driver side a little bit. 1/2" does seem like a lot though, was the tank full or close to full when you measured?

Both, the measurement hasn't changed much. Maybe it's because I measured In The driveway. Slight grade. Didn't think I would affect the side to side. When I get a chance I'll pull it into the garage and see now that I'm down to 1/4 tank.

Are you measuring from the ground up or from the lip of the wheel?

each model (body style)since the seventies has had the "body lean". the last 2 runs, 2007-2013 and the 2014- current have not been nearly as noticeable as prior years. the other thing you will like if you look closely enough is that your bed is not square with the cab.

ground up, here are the first set of spacers I made. punched them out of aluminum. Not dead nuts but close.

I fabbed new stainless spacers this morning using the mill and lathe, so these are dead nuts 1" thick. I will install and have aligned then measure with an empty tank to see if it changes at all.

After I installed my leveling kit, my right side was a little more than 1/2" higher. Unfortunately I didn't measure before hand, but I assume right side was higher before the leveling kit.

Ok, don't mean to beat this to death, but just measured In the The garage. 1/4 tank and it is 37.5" on the driver side and 37.75" on the right. So it must be the weight of the fuel.

That's the perfect amount of front lift in my opinion.

I actually went to a full 2". With tank full, only 1/4" difference in the front. Can't complain with that!

Thanks for the input guys
