Pic request or ideas for front valance

I am thinking about cutting my front lower valance or maybe even removing it completely. I'm not sure about removing tho. Has anyone cut theirs so they aren't hanging so low in the front (i.e. cut across the width of the truck the lower part that drops straight down) or is this just a stupid idea? If you have done one thing or the other, please post pictures. Thanks.

I cut mine at the ends where they drop down at the corners (the wider part on the corners) if your looking straight at the front end. I just taped it to be even with the middle in a straight line and cut it with a dremmel.

 

I don't have any pics but it rubbed 1 time on a yellow parking curb stop so I cut them off the next day.

I thought about it, from a functional standpoint, but after doing a lot of off road stuff (farm fields and pastures) and it not being an issue, I gave up on the idea. Unless one has some clearance issues, not sure there is any benefit to messing with it. But maybe because I lowered the back so my 2500 wouldn't look so much like a cat in heat that it caused enough difference in the front to make the valance not be an issue. Never scraped it on anything yet in 22,000 miles.
