Trailer blinkers 2014 1500 not working

So I have a 2014 Sierra crew cab. and I noticed last fall my blinkers were not working on my brand new trailer.

 

Today I checked the receptacle with a lighted trailer tester and no lights came on when I used the blinkers or the flasher.

 

I looked thru the blogs but nothing.. Running lights work...

Check the fuses under the hood. I had a problem with my trailer tail lights not working, but the brake lights did. Turned out to be a fuse. Also, plugging in a trailer while your truck is on will sometimes cause a fuse to blow so I always turn mine off now.

I have the same issue on my 2014 Sierra. Are you using the four pin or seven pin connection? Mine works using a seven pin to for pin converter, but not using the four pin connector on the truck. I an on my second time having the dealer replace the fuses.

Usually it is the grounding issue. New trailer or not, does it have the grounding wire connected to the trailer frame properly?

I had the same problem. Check your fuse box. I believe its number 15 and 17
