I have a 2016 Chevy Silverado LTZ 6.2 liter wanted to know if anybody has installed GM's version of the borla exhaust wondering if this comes with the flapper valve because I would rather it did not.like to know if it sounds like the touring or the S model

My brother was hoping it would have been louder. Much better than stock though. It's on a 2016 6.2L

With the GM Borla it's quiet when cruising but opens up when you get into the throttle. It's not real load so if you really want to hear it all the time go with the sport model or something similar. I love the sound of it.

The borla rep told me today that it was in between a touring and S I think that's going to be perfect just a little bit of bark

I had my GM Borla installed this afternoon on my 5.3, 2015 Sierra and it's great. Absolutely no drone in the cab, especially when your cruising in V4 mode. You will get a good rumble when you start your truck and also when you lay into the throttle.....sounds the way a truck should sound. I had a magnaflow single in/dual exit on my old 2008 Sierra and the drone was somewhat mild, but started to annoy me after awhile.....the Borla is much better.

I had the Borla cat back installed on my 15 Sierra Denali w/6.2 engine. It is the dual rear split touring and it sounds awesome. Getting 15 more hp at the rear wheels vrs stock. As the others said, nice throaty sound but not obnoxious. When you step on it is when she opens up, combine that with a KnN cold air intake and it just sounds plain nasty and aggressive when accelerating but it still tones down nicely when just cruising and no drone. ~K€.

How much louder would you say it is verses the stock system? I see others have said there's no drone, and that's a good thing. That would drive me banana's on daily driver. Basically, I'm looking for something with just a little more noise over stock, mainly at idle and cruising speeds with still having a quiet cab. What do you think?
