Ordered a 2016 GMC 6.2 but stuck at 1100... Will it get built?

I'm not sure if it helps my order or not but my order sheet says ordered as "Sold" priority is "1". I'm pretty sure they are a high volume dealer. Classic Chevrolet in Sugar Land TX.

Well, more time has passed and I'm still at 1100. I talked to my dealer today and it's like they are trying not to sell cars... Most likely my order will not get picked up this week and who knows if it will get picked up at all because they don't have the allocation. Hate being lied to but I'm really stuck because GM is working with the service dept to buyback my SS so I can't go elsewhere to either reorder or compromise for less options because I have looked high and low to find a suitable replacement but there are no 6.2's remotely close.

 

My only hope is that the service director that I spoke with today can get the GM rep involved to get an allocation but that is another long shot.

 

All in all I thought the limited production SS was tough to get but this truck is giving it a run for its money...
